How to get to the venue

 

..lf you are arriving by plane, take the S-Bahn to Dresden Main Station and then see one the following options:

 

 

 

STARTING POINT:   Dresden Main Station

VIA:                          tram 11 or 9

TIME:                       ca. 10 minutes

 

• walk to the station Hauptbahnhof Nord
• take the tram 11 (direction: Zschertnitz) OR tram 9 (direction: Prohlis) to the stop Lennéplatz or Strehlener Platz (the latter only if you take tram 11)

 

 

 

STARTING POINT:   Dresden Main Station

VIA:                          bus 66

TIME:                       ca. 10 minutes

 

 

• starting from the entrance of the main station: cross the street and find the bus stop underneath the bridge
• take bus number 66 (direction: Lockwitz/Nickern) from this stop to Strehlener Platz or to Caspar-David-Friedrich Strasse

 

 

 

STARTING POINT:   Dresden Main Station

VIA:                          by foot

TIME:                       ca. 15 minutes

 

• turn left from the entrance and cross the street, then walk along Wiener Strasse until you reach the venue

 

 

 

 

How to get to the Conference Dinner

 

 

 

Theaterplatz 3

From the conference venue, walk to Lennéplatz and take tram 11 (direction: Bühlau). Get off at Postplatz. You will see the famous Dresden Zwinger on the opposite side of Postplatz. Cross Postplatz on the right side and enter Sophienstraße with the Zwinger to your left. Keep walking along Sophienstraße until you reach Theaterplatz. Cross the square towards the river with the Semper Oper (which you might recognise from the Radeberger commercials) to your left. The “Italienisches Dörfchen”, the only building next to the river, should be right in front of you.
